Date published: 01 March 2013
Oldham Council is looking for someone to take on the pitch and putt course at Bishop Park, Grains Bar.
The council is inviting offers for a 25-year lease on the course, described as “an idyllic venue” set in a “stunning location”.
Close to the junction of Ripponden Road and Grains Road, the nine-hole, par-three course has views for miles, at one of the highest points in Oldham.
Cabinet member Councillor Dave Hibbert said: “It’s in an absolutely stunning green-belt location and is a unique opportunity for the right person. We’re looking forward to seeing what interest is out there.
