Pitch and putt teed up for bids

Oldham Council is looking for someone to take on the pitch and putt course at Bishop Park, Grains Bar.
The council is inviting offers for a 25-year lease on the course, described as “an idyllic venue” set in a “stunning location”.
Close to the junction of Ripponden Road and Grains Road, the nine-hole, par-three course has views for miles, at one of the highest points in Oldham.
Cabinet member Councillor Dave Hibbert said: “It’s in an absolutely stunning green-belt location and is a unique opportunity for the right person. We’re looking forward to seeing what interest is out there.
