Date published: 01 March 2013
WORK has started on a £2.6million scheme to build affordable homes on the site of a former Lees mill.
Twenty five houses are under construction on the site of the former Owl Mill in Acorn Street. The work is due to be completed in November.
Twenty of the houses will be available for rent, and the remaining five for sale, with 50 per cent shared ownership for first-time buyers.
