A MAN walking on the Rochdale Canal towpath in Chadderton found a man’s body, face down in the water this morning. Police were called at around 7.30am.
The body was near Mills Hill Bridge, close to canal banking behind the Rose of Lancaster pub, at the junction of Haigh Lane and Middleton Road.
Details have not yet been released.
