Calling all fashionable mums — enjoy a style makeover this Mother’s Day weekend, as shopping experts team up with the Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre to revamp your wardrobes and get you ready for spring.

The fantastic fashion event will offer shoppers free, inspirational advice on the styles, shapes and colours that suit them most, and provides Style Pods for visitors to check out their new look.

You can sit back and relax as an expert team pick out the staple pieces your closet desires for the coming seasons, and then you’re free to go on the centre’s plethora of clothing, jewellery and beauty stores.

The Style Pods will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday in the Spindles, with pop-up fashion shows taking place at 11am, 1 and 3pm.

And make sure you’re wearing your best outfit, as the Spindles fashion spies will be on the lookout for trendy shoppers to enter the Style Icon competition.

Fashionistas have from Saturday until Saturday, April 6, to enter the competition and be in with a chance of winning £200 to spend at Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre.

And for those of you looking to treat your mum, Bon Marche is running a competition to win a new outfit from the store to the value of £30, plus enjoy a cut and finish at Salon 7.

All you’ve got to do is tell Bon Marche, in only 50 words, why you love your mum so much. The competition is open until 3pm on Saturday.
