Glasses of champagne in hand, and beaming smiles across their faces — Sandra Langley and fiance Scott Normington have a lot to celebrate after becoming lucky winners of the Chronicle’s £8000 wedding competition
And now can’t wait to share their nuptials with those they love most.
Scooping the prize after collecting coupons from our newspaper, the pair can now enjoy a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast for up to 60 guests at Best Western Smokies Park Hotel in Bardsley plus a DJ, drinks and buffet for 120 evening guests.
Bride-to-be Sandra will also be able to pick a dress from Bella Rose Bridal plus a bouquet from Alison’s Floral Boutique and transport from High Style Cars.
From Balloons and More, the couple will receive full venue dressing and Howard Nilsen Photography will capture all the fun on the day. Outrageous Fortunes Casinos will provide a manned casino table for the evening do.
As the Chronicle reported on Monday, the couple were originally planning to get married last year, but delayed the wedding when Sandra’s mum, Mary, passed away.
Sandra and Scott, who has two sons from a previous relationship, met the wedding planner at Smokies this week to put plans in place for the ceremony and reception
