COMIC Relief is fast approaching, and this year pupils and staff at North Chadderton School are donning red noses and hosting a range of exciting events to raise money for the cause.
On Thursday, a cast of students and staff will put on a Comic Relief show.
The all-singing, all-dancing spectacular gives those on stage carte blanche to “do something funny for money,” and participants predict they will raise a substantial amount of money for Comic Relief.
Head teacher Joy Clark said it was “an opportunity to bring together staff, students and the community by engaging them in entertaining activities that contribute to making a difference to world poverty.”
Other fundraisers include the North Chadderton Bake Off, which will see students and staff compete for the Best Baker title, and a Comic Relief Carnival, where students can throw caution to the wind as they take part in carnival games and browse sidestalls.
