Pair smoked out after cannabis den raid

A FAILSWORTH man has been jailed after admitting growing thousands of pounds worth of cannabis.
Remi Merriman (25), of Daisy Nook, pleaded guilty to cultivating cannabis at an earlier hearing and was jailed for two years and a month at Manchester Crown Court.
Anthony Rimmer (25), of Park Road, Dukinfield, was jailed for two years after admitting the same offence.
The farm was found at New Mill in Park Road, Dukinfield last November, after a tip-off to police.
The estimated street value of the plants was up to £18,000
