BEACHED: Car brings trams to a halt
ANOTHER car has been stuck on the tram tracks at Mumps — the fourth since the line opened.
Police were called out at 8.35pm on Friday and Metrolink services were suspended in both directions while the car was towed away half an hour later.
Onlookers said the driver mistook the line towards Rochdale as part of the road.
