Faults found in school-run transport

GREATER Manchester Police have this month checked 260 vehicles used to transport children to and from school.
Operation Coachman is a national scheme to ensure school transport vehicles and drivers are safe and lawful.
Three vehicles were seized for being driven without insurance or a licence, seven were issued with rectification notices for defects and three were found to have bald tyres.
