JUDO champion Michelle Vidler has been inspiring pupils to be the best.
Michelle, who won a gold at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and competed at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, visited Radclyffe School, Chadderton, and Waterhead Academy as part of the Sky Sports Living for Sport programme.
The programme brings champion ambassadors from different sports into schools to mentor and inspire students to reach their goals and achieve their best.
Tony Ventre, a PE teacher at Radclyffe School, said: “It is a positive experience for all our students to be inspired by a champion and they responded very well.
“Living for Sport is great for the school, motivating students to make positive changes to their lives through sport.”
