Last chance to enter prestige celebration
Date published: 29 March 2013
ENTRIES for the fifth One Oldham Business Awards close on Friday — so this is your last chance to put yourself in line for a prestigious place among Oldham’s elite.
Steve Kilroy, chair of the awards steering group, reports that entries to date are healthy, but said: “We can always do with a few more!”
Online entry forms are available at www.oldhambusinessawards.co.uk and submission is quite simple.
As with the last two years, nominations are acceptable from third-parties — customers or clients or even employees if you perhaps think your boss deserves recognition.
“The whole point of the awards is to reward the hard-working business people and entrepreneurs of Oldham, whether they have been in business for a long time or whether they have just started out,” added Mr Kilroy.
“We have 10 categories so that everyone can have a chance.
Submit
“We have also introduced two new categories this year so we are continually widening the scope and giving more and more Oldham businesses and organisations a reason to enter.”
Judging will begin immediately after the Easter break so there is still time to submit an entry.
