AN 11-year-old “paramedic” has come to the aid of the North-West Air Ambulance.
The charity, which operates two emergency helicopters across the region, has turned to youth rather than experience for a new film to promote the air ambulance.
And Kyia Kulczycki-Binnall from Chadderton was selected to play an air ambulance doctor — to promote the idea that donating to the charity is child’s play.
With three other youngsters, the Newman College pupil has a major speaking part as one of the aircrew.
It’s hoped the film will be seen by thousands of people on the charity’s website, at major air ambulance events and also on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
The four-minute movie features the children-turned-grown-ups flying in the helicopter and treating an injured person at a car crash.
Charity chief executive Lynda Brislin said: “We can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done.”
