KELVIN behind the wheel of the Porsche
AN Oldham TV soap star with a real-life passion for fast cars and racing has taken to the wheel for an afternoon of motorsport.
Kelvin Fletcher, who plays farmer Andy Sugden in “Emmerdale”, made his Porsche motorsport debut at Donington Park, Leicestershire on Sunday in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Great Britain.
He’s no stranger to motorsport, having raced in the Super Mighty Mini Championship at Oulton Park last year.
He qualified for the first race at Donington, with a time of 1min 11;643secs, just over a second behind first place leaving him in third on the grid for race one. He kept that position in the race.
In his second race he finished fourth — both races showing potential for a first place later in the season.
