Husband still being questioned

THE husband of Farkhanda Younis remains in police custody today as he is questioned further in connection with the murder of the young mum in Chadderton last week.

Police applied for a warrant yesterday in order to keep Jahangir Nazar (34) in custody for an extended period of time to allow for further investigations to take place.

Farkhanda (30), known to family and friends as Jabeen, was found dead at her home in Bamford Street on Friday.
