GETTING the message across - the Action Oldham team
BALLOONS, smiles and Chronicles accompanied Action Oldham’s campaign launch in Oldham town centre yesterday.
The initiative will raise awareness of the work of voluntary, community and faith groups in the borough.
Its promotion team was joined by volunteers from Chronicle Community Outreach to provide shoppers with information and a copy of the Action Oldham supplement, which appeared in the Chronicle this week.
The Action Oldham website offers a host of information.
Simon Cooke, fund-raising and business brokerage manager for Voluntary Action Oldham said: “Action Oldham is about connecting our fantastic community groups with each other, volunteers and businesses.
“There are so many ways people can support local good causes.”
