Anti-social behaviour hotspot

OLDHAM has very high levels of anti-social behaviour, according to the latest Home Office figures.
A survey on all anti-social behaviour reported to police in England during 2012 found that the borough recorded more than 80 reports per 1,000 residents.
However, Manchester was revealed as having the most reports of any local authority area in England with 105.2 incidents per 1,000.
Rochdale, Tameside, Burnley, Blackburn, Newcastle and Westminster all recorded similar figures to Oldham.
The information, which was obtained via a Freedom of Information request by shadow Home Office MP Gloria De Piero, revealed that Greater Manchester Police to be the force dealing with the most reports of anti-social behaviour with an average of 85.6 reports per 1,000 residents.
