POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a gang used machetes and a pool cue to attack a man in Werneth early last month.
The 35 year old was approached by a group of men on Frederick Street at around 9.30pm on April 4.
They fled after beating him.
Officers want to speak to the driver of a Vauxhall Corsa whose registration number begins with ‘MX02’.
DC Wesley Knights, from Oldham Police, said: “These men have left their victim with serious injuries. We have identified two of the suspects, but are keen to speak to anyone who might have any information about the other men.”
Anyone with information should call 0161-856 9091 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
