A ROYTON-born film director has given hundreds of students a reel chance to shine on the silver screen.
Adam Lee Hamilton (32) was joined by over 500 young people at the red-carpet screening for his new movie “Friends of Money” at Printworks in Manchester.
The filmmaker’s latest project for the The Co-operative British Youth Film Academy gives youngsters unique opportunities to experience the thrills and challenges of a real film set.
The former Oldham College film and media student said: “The screenings were very rewarding, enjoyable and a great success.
“The Co-operative British Youth Film Academy is a platform for young talent and to see the film on the silver screen is a proud moment for me.”
Adam’s latest film was made last summer at locations across North Wales and stars former “Brookside” actor John McArdle.
“Friends of Money” is a tale of murder and power that pays homage to the detective thrillers of the 1940s.
