Oldham RU Club is ready to rock!
The Bardsley-based club stages its inaugural live music “Ruck Fest” at the Manor Park ground tomorrow and Saturday.
The open air festival will see a quartet of bands performing across the two days.
Event coordinator Steve Tyrell hopes the first will be a springboard for many more, and national recognition.
He said: “We have deliberately kept the inaugural festival modest, but we are keen to see a significant expansion for future years.”
Friday’s line-up features local soul band Timeless and eclectic swing band Junkhouse Dog.
Saturday opens with Bilbo Harper and closes with Irish shanty act Run Out The Guns.
Gates open at 6.15pm on both nights with bands performing from 7.30pm onwards.
Admission is £3 for adults and £1.50 for all under 18s.
