CLINT Boon’s latest work of art is hoping to drum up support to provide a wish for a sick child to see Father Christmas.
The Oldham Inspiral Carpets star (53) is calling on his “Boon Army” of fans to raise money for charity When You Wish Upon a Star.
Each contributor to his online raffle will be in with a chance of winning his painting of the band’s iconic cow logo.
The Greater Manchester-based charity needs £500 to send a child to Lapland this Christmas.
Jen Hughes, charity fund-raiser, said: “When You Wish Upon A Star is a charity whose primary aim is to grant the wishes of children with a life-threatening or terminal illness.
“Each day we receive letters from parents of sick children from all over the country, asking if their child can have a wish granted.
“I contacted Clint to ask if there was any way he could help us out and when he accepted we were delighted.
