OLDHAM Integrated Youth Service is in line for a bumper lottery boost.
The group will use its £110,700 share of £1 million from Sport England to strengthen sporting opportunities for disabled people.
By offering training and taster sessions, the project aims to increase the number of disabled adults and young adults taking part in sport.
Emma Jenks, sports development manager for Oldham Council, who prepared the bid, said she was thrilled about the funds for the three-year programme. The service is one of eight projects in the North-West funded by the Community Sport Activation Fund.
Sport England is investing over £5.1 million in 32 projects across the country.
