Have your say on council services
Date published: 28 May 2013
COUNCIL chiefs want to know which issues matter most to residents.
The results will help the council to set future priorities.
Oldham Council has commissioned independent researchers to poll 23,000 randomly-selected local households.
A council spokesman said: “By sharing your thoughts you will be helping us to plan for the future and deliver services you need. So if the survey lands on your doormat, please don’t ignore it — take a few moments to fill it in.”
First conducted in 2008, the survey provides an unrivalled source of local information: “Respondents provide vital insight into the services that matter most. This has always been important, but never more so than in these difficult economic times.”
All completed surveys should be returned by June 21.
