Woman cut free from car

A WOMAN was cut free from the back seat of a car following a collision in Denshaw last night.
Police and fire crews from Oldham were called to Oldham Road, near the Printers Arms, at 6.45pm when the Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus collided.
The woman was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital suffering from neck and back injuries and fractures to her legs. A man also suffered head injuries.
The road was blocked for almost two hours while police cleared the scene.
