Spotlight on Jean
Date published: 04 June 2013
OLDHAM’s Congress Players were nominated for six awards at the North-West Operatic Dramatic Association (NODA) gongs at the organisation’s annual conference in Blackpool.
And among the winners was Jean Griffiths — who took the prize for best choreographer after being nominated for the last five years.
Jean’s win was for her work on the company’s production of “Oliver” at the Oldham Coliseum.
Paul Osbaldiston, chairman of the group, said: “Jean’s choreography is superb and the award is richly deserved.”
