A CONFERENCE is to help organisations make their volunteer programmes more inclusive.
Voluntary Action Oldham (VAO) has organised tomorrow’s event, Exploring Volunteering and Ex- Offenders, as part of its involvement in Volunteers’ Week.
The week began in Oldham on Saturday as the town said a thank-you to local volunteers for their work across the borough.
Now in its 29th year, Volunteers’ Week celebrates the contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK every day, spending more than 100 million hours helping their communities.
The VAO conference takes place from 11.45am to 4pm at the Honeywell Centre, Hadfield Street.
