Thieves make off with pup Vinny
A DISTRAUGHT couple have offered a reward for the return of their bulldog puppy.
Two men were seen kicking down the door and making off with their pet, and now Simon Davis and Keyleigh Houghton are desperate to get pup Vinny back.
The couple, of Wrens Nest, Shaw, have offered a £200 reward.
Vinny, a rescue dog with a broken leg, found a new home with Simon and Kayleigh when he was just a few weeks old.
Simon (20), explained: “He used to cower all the time.
“He slowly learned to trust us and now he’s brilliant. He’s an absolute diamond of a dog.
“We have never left Vinny on his own before, but on Sunday we nipped out for an hour and a half.
“When we got back we found the door was kicked in and Vinny was gone.”
Nothing else was stolen.
Simon said: “We are so worried about him. He has been through a lot already.”
Anyone who knows where Vinny is should call police on 0161-856 5050 or Simon on 078561 30705.
