CLIMATE change project . . . Safeguard’s Ben Ingham
A ONE Oldham Business award finalist will be jetting off to Istanbul to discuss climate change with former US vice president Al Gore later this month.
Ben Ingham, a sales adviser with the Safeguard Group in Chadderton, will join participants from around the world on Sunday, June 16 to take part in the Climate Reality Project’s three-day intensive training course, led in part by chairman Al Gore.
Ben, a finalist in the young entrepreneur and community engagement categories at last month’s One Oldham Business Awards, said: “I’m really looking forward to the three days in Turkey. I know I’m going to learn an awful lot.
“I have ambitious plans for Safeguard’s environmental and community work and learning from Al Gore is a great opportunity.”
