Milk float stolen

THUGS punched a milkman and broke his nose before stealing his milk float.
He was attacked by the five-strong gang after an unsuccessful burglary at a house in Medlock Road, Woodhouses, in the early hours of Thursday.
They then attempted to steal a car before spotting the milkman and demanding the keys to his vehicle. Before he could hand them over, hewas punched in the face.
The float was found a few hours later in Grange Drive, Blackley, by police with five people in it. Four were arrested and the fifth ran off after giving his name.
