Kiss nightclub: bargain for one buyer

Oldham’s vacant Kiss nightclub has sold for £100,000 at auction.

The winning bid for the three-storey, 3,908 sq ft building exceeded its £75,000-£80,000 guide price.

Auction boss Paul Thompson said: “We had a significant amount of interest. We always receive a great number of enquiries for property in Oldham. The sale will help to give a new lease of life to the property and we look forward to seeing what the new owners have planned.”

The new owners are so far keeping tight-lipped about their plans.
