OLDHAM pupils were so badly behaved on a trip to Chester Zoo that the school has been banned from the attraction for two years.
Elsewhere, a top-performing Chadderton primary school is to undergo a #2.8m expansion programme, while a former school site in Failsworth has been sold for housing.
Oldhamers have been praised for helping to tackle the problem of illegal cigarettes and alcohol.
Plus we have a pictorial round-up of a weekend of fun activities in Shaw and at Hulme Grammar's Party in the Park.
This and much more in tonight's Oldham Evening Chronicle. Make sure you buy your copy or check out the eChron and iChron for laptops and mobiles.
