Quad bike rider’s gun threat ordeal

A man was threatened at gunpoint by a five-strong gang as he rode his quad bike along Railway Road, Oldham, at 7.20 last night.
As a member of the gang placed a handgun to his head, they demanded the keys to the bike. But the brave rider snatched them from the ignition and ran off. He later called police and the quad bike was recovered. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed: “Inquiries are continuing.”
