FOND memories of a loved head teacher were shared at Mayfield Primary School with a painting unveiled in her memory.

Saddleworth artist David Ford had been commissioned by the school to complete the work, intended to remember the school’s former head teacher Christine Taylor, who died last summer after a battle with cancer.

Christine’s husband Jack went to see the painting unveiled staff and students.
