Two attacked in late-night disturbance
A 29-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed in the neck in Oldham’s Yorkshire Street in the early hours of Saturday.
The seriously-injured victim was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital alongside a 40-year-old man, found nearby with a serious stab wound in his hand. The incident area was closed off by police for hours for examination.
Chief Inspector Haydn Roberts said: “We have two men in hospital with quite serious stab injuries, but both will make a full recovery.
“We have arrested one man on suspicion of assault, and have spoken to a number of people who were around Yorkshire Street in the early hours.”
