THEY’RE in the dark: but that didn’t stop these fund-raisers making thousands for Dr Kershaw's
IT was best foot forward for willing walkers in this year’s Dr Kershaw’s Hospice Midnight Walk.
More than 230 people took part in the weekend’s sixth annual sponsored walk.
Men, women and a few four-legged friends donned fitness gear and fancy dress before warming up with a spot of Zumba on Saturday night, before setting off at midnight.
Walkers followed a six-mile or 10-mile circular route through Royton, Chadderton and back to the finish line at Oldham Academy North.
The event raises money to cover the hospice’s running costs of £4,670 a day.
Fundraising manager Lisa Pearson said: “The event was absolutely fantastic.”
