Police hunt man

Wanted - Lawrence Cooke

POLICE have issued the image of a man wanted in connection with cultivating cannabis in Failsworth in a renewed appeal for information about his whereabouts.

Lawrence Cooke (57) is wanted after 365 cannabis plants were seized at a Failsworth industrial unit in January, 2006.

Cooke was arrested and bailed until September, 2006, but failed to appear at a police station.

Police believe he may have links to the Harpurhey and New Moston areas of Manchester, although he may be out of the country.
