BEST foot forward . . . the procession makes it way to Oldham Parish Church
BLUE Coat School pupils and staff celebrated their Founder’s Day in glorious sunshine.
Head boy James Fairbrother and senior student Phoebe McKeown, filling in for the head girl who was completing her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, led the traditional parade in honour of hatmaker Thomas Henshaw.
A service was held at Oldham Parish Church before a wreath was laid at the original war memorial in the church grounds.
