Mono Pumps thinks big for old BAE site

BIG expansion plans have been submitted for the former BAE site in Chadderton.
The Greengate site was taken over by pump manufacturer NOV Mono Pumps Ltd last December. The company hopes to boot its workforce to around 1,000.
The company moved from its base in Audenshaw to increase manufacturing capacity in an investment project worth over £20 million.
The company has applied for permission to extend the main warehouse building, make alterations to buildings and install new plant and machinery, including a 8.5m (27ft) cooling tower and wash down facility.
Thre will also be a new 200 space car park between the two buildings fronting Greengate.
