Court drugs charge

A WOMAN has been charged with drugs offences following an operation by Oldham’s divisional organised crime unit.
Samantha Barnes (32) of no fixed address, faces counts of supplying and possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply. She appeared at Oldham Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The appearance followed the police search of a house in Devon Street, Oldham, where 18 bags of heroin were seized. The following day officers seized another 10 bags.
A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply and has been bailed.
