Saddleworth is blooming lovely in summer — as parish councillors have found for this year’s Saddleworth in Bloom competition.
Council chairman Councillor Graham Sheldon, his consort Diane, Councillor Enid Firth and Councillor Bill Cullen judged this year’s many entries in advance of a presentation night in September.
These are the results:
Container Garden
1st: Mrs. Ann Smith, 47 Platt Lane, Dobcross.

Small Garden
