59 arrests in week of action

OLDHAM police have charged 14 people and made 59 arrests during its clampdown on crime and antisocial behavior, Operation Resolute.
A week of action - July 22-28 - saw 155 arrests made across the division.
Rogue traders and bogus officials were high on the agenda, as was metal theft. On Friday and Saturday evening patrols carried out drugs checks at several pubs and clubs.
