£100,000 drugs seized in raid - nine arrests

HEROIN worth £100,000 was discovered and nine people arrested when police raided houses in Chadderton yesterday.
Officers from the Oldham Division’s Organised Crime Unit stormed addresses in Firdale Walk and Maygate and found a massive drugs stash. The nine, aged 20-40 were held on suspicion of importing and supplying class A drugs.
Chief Supt Catherine Hankinson, Oldham Divisional commander, said: “We take drug dealing and drug criminality seriously. We will come down hard on those offenders profiting from this lifestyle.
“Members of the public are asked to continue supporting us by providing information and intelligence.
