YORKSHIRE Street shops have been given the celebrity thumbs up by members of boy band Blue.
Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe from the Brit Award-winning group popped into Nosh cafe and takeaway yesterday to pick up some bacon sandwiches.
Owner Corry Potter snapped her 14-year-old daughter April with Lee, who also bought a guitar lead from Muso’s music shop opposite.
Blue — the line-up also includes Duncan James and Antony Costa — were doing a photo shoot at nearby Zutti clothes shop for their new website. The site is being designed by Zutti’s Zack Hughes, who also runs a digital development company.
Teresa Wrigglesworth, a letting agent at Smooth Moves on Yorkshire Street, hotfooted it to Nosh to have her photo taken with Lee.
She said: “I used to be a fan years ago. It makes a change from looking at the bus drivers walking past!”
