A PHOTOGRAPHY suo is hoping to bring the former Oldham town hall back to life - with faces from its past.
Alan Ward and his pal Dan Dubowitz have been asked to create exciting hoardings, which will surround the Grade II building as it undergoes major redevelopment into a cinema, shops, cafes and a restaurant
The artist duo, recently involved with the refurbishment of Manchester Central Library — joins Oldham College and Oldham Council for the new project.
The photographers are looking for people with an interesting connection to the building.
“Maybe there is someone out there who spent a night in the wine bar - or in the jail — or both!” said Alan.
“Or maybe they were the court recorder or got married there. We don’t know what the response will be but we really would like to contact three people from each era.”
The pair will interview respondents and take pictures for the display.
