Model Karen is the new face of Marks

CHADDERTON supermodel Karen Elson has been named as the new face of high street giants Marks and Spencer.

The 34-year-old redhead, a former pupil at North Chadderton School, will line up alongside Dame Helen Mirren, Olympic boxer Nicola Adams, singer Ellie Goulding, ballerina Darcey Bussell and artist Tracey Emin for the store’s new autumn campaign.

Karen was recently in the headlines after filing a restraining order against her rock-star husband Jack White.

Karen made her name in 1996 as a teenager with her flame-red hair and slim figure. She has modelled for a host of top names, including Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier.
