A MUM who was due to return to her terrace house 14 months after the Shaw gas blast faces another lengthy delay after a decision was made to knock down the neighbouring property.
Meanwhile, the first tram rolled along Oldham's new town centre Metrolink line this morning _ finally bringing the opening of the new line within sight.
Elsewhere, Greater Manchester police and crime commissioner Tony Lloyd and his deputy Jim Battle toured parts of Oldham to see how the borough is dealing with crime.
On the sporting front, former Latics loan goalkeeper Paul Rachubka was due to make an appearance for the reserves today with a view to a possible short-term contract.
