L of a tough test in Failsworth
Date published: 23 August 2013
Failsworth is the toughest place in Greater Manchestrer to take the driving test, according to new figures from the Driving Standards Agency.
Only 39.2 per cent of people who take a test there pass first time. Though the figures don’t exactly reveal the presence of fire-breathing testers. Rochdale’s pass rate is only 0.15 per cent better, while Bury drivers mange 42.07 per cent and Hyde 55.87. The Greater Manchester average rate is 45.7 per cent.
