A PERVERT with an “unhealthy fetish” for taking pictures of schoolgirls in the street ended up being thumped in the face.
A 16-year-old victim spotted what Wayne Stott was doing and phoned her father, who raced to the school in Salford in his car.
The dad detained Stott - who admitting receiving his injury because he had been taking pictures of the man’s daughter.
At Manchester city magistrates’ court prosecutor Gareth Hughes said police found 20 pictures of girls on Stott’s mobile phone.
The jobless 40-year-old of Lyndon Croft, Oldham, pleaded guilty to outraging public decency in Eccles between February and June. The judge called his behaviour “deplorable”.
Stott was given a two-year supervision order to attend a sex offenders’ group programme.
The judge barred him from entering Salford and ordered him not to take any photographs for the next two years.
Kathy Mulhearn, defending, said Stott had “complex issues” and needed treatment.
