GCSE RESULTS: THIS quartet of outstanding students is celebrating a year of excellent results at North Chadderton School.
The Chadderton Hall Road school achieved a 73 per cent pass rate in the target five A*-C passes, including English and maths.
The school is particularly delighted with its English and maths results — both above 80 per cent, with more students than ever gettingachieving top grades.
Head teacher Joy Clark said: “These results demonstrate the sheer hard work of students and staff built on the ethic of teamwork within the school.”
Ivan Valenzuela got 12 A*s and an A. He will study maths, further maths and all three sciences at the school’s sixth form.
Elizabeth Foden got seven A*s, two As and three Bs and will study physics, maths, chemistry and English literature at the school’s sixth form.
Dominic Lowe got six A*s, six As and two Bs. He will study maths, chemistry, physics.
Tom Nixon chalked up six A*s, two As, five Bs and a C.
