Train death: inquest awaits

A MAN hit and killed by a train in Greenfield was a 19-year-old from the Oldham area.
His family have been informed of the tragic death but police will not reveal his identity until an inquest is held.
British Transport Police say the teenager was killed on a foot crossing a few hundred yards away from the train station at 7.35pm on Wednesday.
The teenager was struck by the 5.02pm Newcastle to Manchester Airport service.
