ONE of Oldham’s oldest residents has died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 108.
Eunice Lunn, who had lived at Ashbourne residential home in Holts since 2001, was born in 1905 in Holyhead, Anglesey — one of six brothers and sisters.
Deputy manager at the home Sharon Richardson said: “She was a lovely lady, really pleasant.
“She kept active and travelled the world late in life. She also passed her driving test in her 80s.
“She didn’t communicate as much in the last few years but she still enjoyed a glass of sherry.”
